Apple's camera sensors are come from OmniVision before, but this time it is very likely that SONY provides camera sensors for Apple. This statement is confirmed by SONY CEO Howard Stringer.

It is reported, SONY produces the 8 megabytes pixel sensor now, it is applicable to like Xperia Neo, and SONY CMOS sensor adapt to the dark and light line and with little noise. While Apple often say they need to all-round quality of a sensor, SONY's production is likely to conform to their new product requirement.
