Apple TV Jailbroken with GreenPois0n Tool

Now we have a look at the 1st picture of jailbroken Apple TV with greenpois0n. Yeah! Apple TV is jailbroken with Limera1n exploit in Greenpois0n tool.

Apple TV 2G is successfully jailbroken with Limera1n exploit in Greenpois0n tool. P0sixninja from Chronic Dev Team has posted the first image of jailbroken Apple TV with greenpois0n as a proof. The image shows customloader with Apple TV running iOS 4.1 in background. After jailbreaking iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, the Team is working on jailbreaking Apple TV. As the team seems to be working hard and soon they are going to release the new version of greenpois0n tool supporting Apple TV.

Earlier, MuscleNerd from Dev Team had posted a video in which 2nd Gen Apple TV is shown jailbroken with SHAtter exploit by Pod2g. But they were not able to install applications. As SHAtter exploit was preserved after release of Limera1n exploit by Geohot. The team has modified the greenpois0n tool to use Limera1n instead of SHAtter exploit.

So, Apple TV is also jailbroken now with Limera1n exploit instead of SHAtter.

The team has not given any ETA for releasing Apple TV jailbreak on iOS 4.1 with greenpois0n but it will be released in next few days.
